Cootamundra Accommodation
With a population of 5,566, Cootamundra is 58km South East of Temora. It is one of the Riverina's main stock handling and wheat growing centres, famous for Cootamundra Wattle which is in full bloom during August and the birthplace of Sir Donald Bradman. John Hurley settled in Cootamundra in 1847 to pasture his stock and in 1860 the first plans were drawn to build a village.
