Peter Pring-Shambler

Chief Engineer

                           

Peter was an Aircraft engine and airframe technician in the Royal Australian Navy for ten years and a founding member of R.A.N. Historic Flight. After his discharge from the Navy Peter became the Chief Engineer for Col Pay's Warbird Collection, then Chief Engineer for David Lowy's Performance Aerospace. In 1997 Peter became the Director and Chief Engineer of Performance Fighter Rebuilds and is now the Chief Engineer for Temora Aviation Museum's Aircraft Collection. In September 1996, Peter represented Australia as the Chief Engineer for the Australian Aerobatic Team at the World Aerobatic Championships in Oklahoma City, U.S.A.. Peter has been maintaining and restoring Warbirds and unique aircraft for twenty three years.
